This free tool’s premise is interesting: The key to successful copywriting, it teaches, is to reach your audience in a “deep and emotional way.” And who the heck can argue with that?
Paste a headline (or line of copy) of up to 20 words, and this will analyze its Emotional Marketing Value (EMV). It gives it as a percentage, the higher the better. It also tells you what types of emotions it likely appeals to the most. Neutral, Intellectual, Spiritual, etc. If you want to know what those may mean, it also gives fairly detailed and interesting explanations.
FYI, it says standard English has an EMV of 20%, while most pro copywriters hit around 30-40%.
