When you realize that you likely spend most of your day reading (news, emails, articles, reports, etc.—sound familiar?), doesn’t it make sense that if you can increase your reading speed instantly, your productivity will jump up instantly as well? If, like me, you do much of that reading on a Web browser, take a look at this nifty free tool.

A free Chrome extension, Jiffy Reader transforms the text you see on your browser, visually enhancing it to trigger what it calls a brain hack that it says will help increase your reading speed.

The text will look something like this. Worth testing to see if it works for you, I say. Doesn’t even get in the way; instead of being on all the time, I’ve got it set up to activate/deactivate on demand through a keyboard shortcut.
