Just my notebook on how I like to “style” the words hereabouts. Use and copy the styles for your own sites if you like, or ignore them. I really don’t care beyond my Zone of Terror.
eBook, ebook — capitalize B first word, headlines; all lc normal; no hyphen
Email, email — all lc normal; no hyphen
FTP — all caps
Internet — always capitalized
Net — capitalized if Internet
online — No hyphen; I don’t know why, but I hate the hyphen in this word
Web — capitalized if World Wide Web (e.g., Web-based)
Web design — capitalized, unless you’re designing spider webs
webpage, website — one word, always (except for Web design)
World Wide Web — always capitalized
WWW — all caps
