Read this, even if you aren’t Christian. The info’s generic good. If you find “Christian” offensive, whenever you come across it in this piece, just plug in another choice term in its place. I haven’t stopped giggling from the last word I used. — EES

No, I haven’t confirmed any of these “truths,” but I don’t have any reason to disbelieve any of it either. The book sales data, I think, most of you will find really interesting (enough to bookmark!). The only part I find questionable is the insinuation that “subsidy publishing” is behind the tremendous growth in new [...]

I’ve been using the free FeedBlitz service for who knows how long to automatically deliver email updates to all Wordpreneur subscribers whenever I “post” something new. As far as I can tell, it’s been working (I’ve subscribed myself to my own mailings, of course).
From a publisher’s point of view, it’s OK. I’m not too keen [...]

I’m sure you already know all this (you do, don’t you?). But it doesn’t hurt to get the occasional refresher. Writing press releases, after all, is one heck of a lucrative yet dirt simple writing service you could be providing clients. How simple? Just get these five points covered (much of it no-brainers), and you’re [...]

In case you haven’t noticed: The economy sucks. Even if you don’t look at the numbers, as writers I’d like to think you all at least notice people. Surely you haven’t missed the high state of nervousness among the populace. And that — surprise! — will make the economy suck, if it isn’t doing so already. Funny [...]
