A Bit More on Keywords for Image Selection Searches

June 8, 2012 Eldon Sarte No Comments

Just a little addendum to yesterday’s post on choosing the right image or photograph for your blog posts, ebook covers, etc., in an email to a friend who had a few more questions. My paraphrased comments:

“[The search] doesn’t take very long, actually — I usually find what I need on the first screen of suggestions. If I don’t, that usually means I’m just using the wrong keyword(s).”

And…

“Keyword selection is also pretty easy. Just pretend you want to find your blog post on Google — what would you type in to search for it? If you the author can’t come up with something to type in, no one else can either. So, no one will find it anyway, so no problem even if you don’t have an image.”
