How Important is Your Blog Layout?

Unedited Guest Article by John Fagan, Jr.

Your blog layout is of the utmost importance. It should be designed around what is called ‘minimalism’ this means you should not “cram” your blog pages too much because this makes it difficult for visitors to decide what to read first. It is easy for them to get lost if the main content of the blog is not clear to them and if they can not decide what it is they will find in the other pages of the blog.

2008 50 Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords

A pal just forwarded this list to me. I’m too lazy to verify or even source this information, but I do recognize more than just a number of search keywords listed I know are very high-paying, so here it is for you to ponder over.

The numbers you see are supposedly the average bids per click (which means you make that money if you have a blog on, say, mesothelioma, and a visitor clicks on an AdSense ad Google has fed to your site for display whose advertiser also happens to be bidding that amount). Now, I don’t think these numbers are accurate (the list calling the figures “average” was a flag), and some quick checks on a few keywords today certainly do not reflect these reported numbers… but the figures are still quite up there for the few I was curious enough to look into. And lazy me can’t be bothered to see if these indeed were the numbers back in ’08.

Now, if you are inclined to see what these keywords may pay out now, go to your Google AdWords account (not AdSense) and use its Traffic Estimator tool. It’s the keyword’s reported Estimated Avg. CPC figure you want to take a look at. Enjoy:
